MCE-Iberoamérica
This notice explains how MCE-Iberoamérica uses personal information submitted through the public Come & See enquiry form. Applications, references, journals, mentor records, health information, and staff decisions are handled separately in the secure Mobilization Platform.
Information we collect
The public form collects your name, email address, optional telephone number, preferred language, optional country of residence, optional field preference, your message, consent record, submission time, source page, and a technical submission identifier.
Why we use it
Authorized MCE-Iberoamérica mobilization staff use the information to review your interest, contact you, avoid duplicate records, protect the form from misuse, and decide whether to invite you into the secure short-term application process. The public form does not automatically create a candidate account.
Who can receive it
The enquiry is transferred to the Mobilization Platform and may be available to authorized MCE-Iberoamérica or ECMI personnel who support intake, program coordination, security, or technical operations. We do not sell enquiry information or publish it as a story or testimony.
Retention and international processing
Because MCE and ECMI work internationally, authorized processing may occur in more than one country. Retention follows the Mobilization Platform’s approved lifecycle and legal or accountability requirements. When information is no longer required, it should be deleted or anonymized according to those rules.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, restriction, or deletion where applicable, or withdraw consent for future enquiry follow-up. Withdrawal does not undo processing already completed. Use this form safely
The public form is not the place for passport, medical, psychological, safeguarding, financial, or emergency information. If the process continues, staff will direct you to the appropriate secure channel. For a safeguarding concern, use the guidance on the Safeguarding page.
